	Amurol Confections Company is located in Yorkville, Illinois where it manufactures some of the most popular bubble gum and candies for children and adults. It product line includes Bubble Tape Bubble Gum, Big League Chew Bubble Gum, Everest powerful mint gum, Vela mints, Reeds Roll Candy, OUCH! Bubble Gum, Bubble Beeper, Squeeze Pop Liquid Lollipops, Bug City, and Thumb Suckers. Amurol products are enjoyed by children and adults throughout the world. Amurol Confections Company was founded in 1948 and present in over 50 countries. In 1958 Amurol continued to manufacture the line of sugar-free items and in the 1960’s developed the first soft, sugar-free, bubble gum known as Blammo. Amurol then became interested in what is known as the novelty gum business. In 1979, Amurol introduced Mork Bubble Gum, and in 1980 Chu Bops, Tidal Wave and Big League Chew Bubble Gum. It was in the mid-1980 that Amurol decided to discontinue the dietetic/sugar-free business and focus on the novelty bubble gum sector. In the mid-1980’s Amurol introduced one of the most popular children’s bubble gum, Bubble Tape along with several other popular bubble gums and suckers. Today Amurol is a recognized leader in the confections industry and a pround part of the W.M. Wrigley Jr. Company.
